Thank you all once again for another great holiday! A short time but still enjoyable. The highlights of this holiday were:La Roche Courbon Chateau, great despite the hot weather.The beach at Meschers. Daddys favourite place - men came in a LAND ROVER to rescue a womans husband who she thought had gone swimming and got lost but had just gone into the café!!Lots of fun had in the pool with Georgina & Claudia.
We would really like to keep in touch.

The 2nd of two great weeks in France, thank you Nicky & Paul.
We'd recommend the following:Coulon in Marais Poitevin -for a boat trip and pancakes - don't bother with the train!La Rochelle - day & night. The Aquarium in the heat of the day, the towers general buzz!Zoodysée at Chizé - only 10 mins away, make sure you get horse and carriage ride before 4pm.Les Jacobins in St Jean D'Angely - great italian and pizza restaurant, best value meal we had!
Always speak to Nicky & Paul for top tips on routes, ideas etc
Evenings in the courtyard were great fun for all adults & children. The dogs were great for Abigail. Nicky and Paul couldn't have been more helpful.

Thank you for a very pleasant and relaxing week. Some of our visit highlights were (in no particular order):Jarnac - nice place for a leisurely lunch in Place du Chateau followed by a fab boat trip along the Charente (boat departs beside bridge of Courvoisier - boatman let kids 'drive' the boat).Ile de Ré - fab beachesLa Rochelle - excellent aquariumMarais Poitevin - Small town of Coulon, lovely place for a stroll & lunch. Trip on a boat through the canals well worth the money!
Highlights also included evenings in the courtyard with good company, kids playing tennis, rounders, cycle cross, show jumping. Nicky & Paul certainly went the extra mile to ensure everyone was comfortable.

A great couple of weeks, very relaxing. Nicky & Paul very helpful and pointed us in the right direction in terms of days out etc.
The best supermarket we found was E.Leclerc in St Jean D'Angely. We had a great trip to the zoo at Royan, a good trip to Ile D'Oleron and the beach at La Cotiniere. Great day out at Ile de Ré, Ars-en-Ré is a real treat, but park on the outskirts and walk in. Spent a lovely afternoon at the beach at Fouras and then enjoyed the early evening there, trampolines and good restaurants. For any birdwatchers out there, interesting birds seen from the garden, Hen Harrier, Little Owls, Hoopie, and Stone Curleurs (in the field most early mornings). Canoeing at Le Vert a great success and a lovely mealon the last day at the fishing place near Migre (ask Nicky & Paul).
A lovely introduction to holidaying 'en france'.

Thank you for a great holiday. We have all had a lovely time! We've had a great stay, both chilling out at the pool and exploring the local towns and villages!
